Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, a great American novel, is a complex, layered story (full of digressions) with many ways to read it. this collection reproduces selected excerpts to present multiple variations on Moby Dick (including ball cap slogans (above) and band names (&/or album titles) (below)).

 while reading, and rereading, Moby Dick, i encountered so much bigotry that i began to catalog it (along with the other items that drew my attention). i developed my notes into two pages of highlights (similar to the approach for the rest of the zine) and then redacted the bigoted excerpts for inclusion here (to highlight the fact that significant bigotry exists within Moby Dick without republishing it).
